About Me

Hi! My name is Miguel Angel Garcés Lenis, and I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Software Engineering at Western Governors University (WGU). My passion for technology and problem-solving has driven me to explore both software development and quality assurance, building a versatile skill set that prepares me for multiple roles in the tech industry.

In software development, I have hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular, creating interactive, responsive web applications and personal projects. These projects showcase my ability to design functional solutions with a focus on user experience and clean, maintainable code.

In parallel, I am expanding my QA expertise by working with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Docker, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines. This experience allows me to ensure software reliability through automated and manual testing, while also understanding the full lifecycle of software development—from writing code to deploying robust applications.

My curiosity for technology started at a young age, from exploring video games to experimenting with apps, and it continues to inspire me to learn, innovate, and tackle challenging problems. Balancing school, projects, and work has strengthened my discipline, time management, and problem-solving skills. I embrace challenges, focusing on finding solutions and learning from every experience.

I value creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning, always keeping the end-user experience in mind. Whether building an application from scratch or testing and refining existing systems, my goal is to deliver high-quality, intuitive, and impactful solutions.

Ultimately, I aim to grow into a professional who can excel as a Full-Stack Software Engineer or a QA Specialist, contributing to innovative projects that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
