ABOUT JERSEY CITY

Before Jersey City was incorporated in February 22, 1839, it used to be an european settlement back in 1630. Jersey City, located across the Hudson River from Manhattan, NYC and categorized as an urban area, is the second-most populous city in New Jersey, just after Newark. As of 2022, there are 286,661 people living in the city.

The city is knwon for its vibrant cultural diversity, as well as for its growing destination for tech startups and professionals due to its affordability compared to Manhattan. Also, it is home to the Liberty State Park that offers views of the Statue of Liberty and access to Ellis Island.
